Kelly St. John is a visionary and performance driven beauty veteran with over 25 years of experience developing brands, delivering sustainable growth strategies and driving consumer-driven organizations forward. Her deep understanding of the ever-changing beauty industry, coupled with her extensive network of retailers, leaders and investors, gives Kelly a leading edge as a strategist, advisor, collaborator, and connector.


Kelly is the Founder and CEO of KSJ Collective, a strategic growth consultancy for the beauty industry. Her distinguished career started at Estee Lauder and Neiman Marcus, where she gained invaluable experience working on teams that discovered and helped develop new emerging brands into industry titans, including Chantecaille, ReVive, Atelier Cologne, and Maison Francis Kurkdijan, and many others. Today, Kelly marries her experience and network to support brands of all sizes to create transformative growth strategies that achieve sales targets, build brand equity and grab market share.


With a reputation for professionalism, diplomacy, and grace under pressure, Kelly balances instinct with informed risk-taking to make decisions that drive top performance in both people and products. KimberLEY Henney | Director of Independent Retail


Accomplished merchant, product curator and account director, Kimberley Henney brings a wealth of experience to her role as Director of Independent Retail & Brands, helping indie beauty brands grow from early-stage startups to industry leaders with a focused, actionable approach to distribution and assortment curation.


Having spent over 15 years at Neiman Marcus, working across both beauty and fashion, Kimberley possesses a strong merchant skillset that includes assortment planning, profitability & trend analysis, forecasting, marketing, and event planning & execution. As Director of Buying and Merchandising at Camera Ready Cosmetics, she further strengthened her financial acumen and assortment planning expertise, to solidify her position in the industry as an omni-channel beauty professional. Her intuitive ability to spot category trends and predict future bestsellers gives Kimberley a deep understanding of the ‘Buyer’s Mindset’, a critical perspective that she incorporates into her role at KSJ Collective.


A numbers-oriented people person, Kimberley is known for motivating, mentoring and successfully driving top performance in her teams. She excels at pairing brands with their ideal retail partners and works to develop a mutually beneficial relationship, including guidance on training, sampling, merchandising and performance measurement. Danmark Bantay | Director of Sales & Education


With nearly 15 years of experience developing and leading retail sales teams, Danmark Bantay joins the KSJ Collective as the Director of Sales and Education, bringing his operational excellence and magnetic personality to the team. Prior to joining KSJ Collective, Danmark rose through the ranks at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, proving himself to be a reliable revenue driver, event organizer, hiring manager, and ultimately an indispensable member of the management team. Goal oriented and performance driven, Danmark’s proven history of achieving sales goals, motivating employees and mentoring staff to improve sales outcomes landed him a position as Director of Sales and Education with Beboe Therapies, tasked to oversee business development, sales trainings and wholesale relations.


With extensive experience in the store environment, Danmark offers unique insight into how brands can best position themselves for greatest brand exposure in the ever changing retail landscape. In his role at KSJ Collective, Danmark acts as a brand ambassador at the store level, facilitating education, trainings and events to drive brand awareness and increase sales. A seasoned buyer and sales manager for emerging luxury brands, Alex Kouri brings a blend of corporate cachet and indie grit to her role at KSJ Collective. Her 20+ year track record of driving new business and growing teams across beauty, jewelry and luxury goods for Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman was followed by a successful run at Blue Nile, a digital-first fine jewelry retailer. Quick to adapt, learn and lead, Alex has earned a reputation as a people-first creative problem solver, a trend spotter, and an omni-channel strategist for luxury brands.

Equally adept at building new business and brand awareness in store as well as online, Alex offers keen insights to support her 360 degree growth strategies that often include strong focus on social media, digital marketing, strategic partnerships and live events. Always striving to strike the balance between pushing what’s trending and promoting what’s timeless, her process is rooted in relationships, driven by analytics, and inspired by the ever-evolving landscape of the beauty industry. With a deep knowledge of the luxury space and a scrappy ‘do what it takes’ entrepreneurial mentality, Alex is personally responsible for bringing dozens of emerging beauty and jewelry brands to market at national retailers and on digitally native vertical platforms.

Jennifer Jeanneret is a luxury design and merchandising professional with a passion for quality, beauty, product development, and people. She spent nearly 9 years at Neiman Marcus. She was one of the very first buying team members back in 2008 when Kelly was hiring a team of 20 to lead an exciting new online growth initiative for the company. She went on to take a Project Lead and Analyst role in 2011 where she was a member of the team who designed, built and tested a $100M Oracle Suite of merchandising systems. Jennifer left Neiman Marcus to return to Colorado State University as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant and ultimately earned her Master’s in Design and Merchandising. For the past four years, she has been an Instructor at CSU as well as an Internship Coordinator where she supervised placement of apparel design, merchandising, and product development internships for 100 students per year in the U.S. and abroad.

Jennifer adds her 15+ year career in industry and academia to the Collective as Director of Operations and Communications.

ASHLEY HALL | Director of Sales & Education


With a diversified beauty career, Ashley brings both strategy and creativity to her role at KSJ Collective. She consistently delivered results, retained talent, and exceeded business development expectations at her near 10-years at MAC Cosmetics. Additionally, she excelled in makeup artistry, refining her skills backstage at New York Fashion Week and on A-List print campaigns.


Motivated by ingenuity and product development, Ashley leveraged her makeup artistry skillset at Chanel before moving to NARS, where she oversaw Education and Training for the Pacific Northwest. She facilitated employee and retailer trainings, hosted personal appearances, and provided store support at all points of distribution in the 5-state territory. Most recently, Ashley embraced the shift to digital by developing digital-first trainings that were spot lit through various platforms during the pandemic. Her passion for the planet, sustainability and ethics in beauty led her to Credo, where she oversaw two store locations in the San Francisco market as Market Manager.


Ashley's keen sense of optimism paired with insider market knowledge on both the retailer and brand sides of the business make her an invaluable asset to KSJ Collective as Director of Sales and Education.
